Mobile app interface for STRYCT showing total lock time of 12 days, 18 hours, and 45 minutes. The screen is set to lock for 4 hours with options to choose hours or custom duration. Unlock time displayed as 6:30 PM. A large red 'Block Now' button is at the center bottom, and a note indicates the block applies to 8 apps and 4 sites. Navigation icons for session, schedules, ration, and blocklist appear at the bottom, with the session tab highlighted.

You pick up your phone. You don't remember why.

That's the loop. Nothing decided it. Your thumb just knew where to go. A notification, a lull, a bad moment, and you're forty minutes deep in a feed you didn't choose to open.

Willpower loses to that loop almost every time, because the loop doesn't ask permission. Stryct doesn't try to out-willpower it either. It just removes the option to keep going.

4 hours a day, every day, from age 18 to 70: that's roughly 8.7 years spent looking at a screen. Stryct exists to claw some of that back.

How Stryct works

Four ways to make distraction unavailable.

Pick the mode that fits the moment. Every one of them locks your Blocklist down for the full duration, no snooze, no skip.

Block Now

Lock it down instantly.

Need to focus right now? Set a duration anywhere from 15 minutes to 30 days and hit Block Now. Your Blocklist goes dark immediately, no grace period, no "just one more scroll."

  • Hours, days, or weeks, your call
  • Tracks total lock time earned
Schedules

Set it once. Zero willpower required.

Build recurring windows that lock automatically: a Sleep Protection block from 9pm to 5am, a Morning Focus block before 9am, whatever your day actually needs. Once it's set, you never have to remember to turn it on again.

  • Pick the days, pick the hours
  • Runs in the background, every week
Mobile app screen titled 'Schedules' with the subtitle 'Set it once. Zero willpower required.' It shows two active schedule settings. The first is 'Sleep Protection' set from 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM, active Monday through Friday. The second is 'Morning Focus' set from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM, active Monday through Friday. Both schedules have red toggles indicating they are on. The bottom navigation bar highlights the 'Schedules' icon in red, with other menu items labeled Session, Ration, and Blocklist.
Daily Limit

A budget for your worst apps.

Instead of an all-or-nothing block, give your Blocklist a daily time budget. Spend it however you want throughout the day. The second it hits zero, everything on the list locks until midnight.

  • Preset budgets or a custom amount
  • Resets automatically at midnight
Screen of Daily Ration app showing a toggle switch turned on for a daily budget on Blocklist, with presets and custom tabs. A circular progress bar displays 48 minutes remaining today. Time preset options include 30 minutes, 1 hour (selected), and 1 hour 30 minutes. Text at bottom says resets at midnight. Navigation bar shows session, schedules, ration (selected), and blocklist icons.
Blocklist

Choose your line in the sand.

Add exactly the apps and websites that get you: TikTok, Instagram, Reddit, or any site by URL. Stryct can also block known adult content sites automatically. Once you turn that on, it's on for good, there's no switching it back off.

  • Automatic adult content blocking

Why it actually works

Built so you can't talk yourself out of it.

Every other blocker has a back door: a snooze button, a five-second override, an easy uninstall. Stryct is designed without one.

Can't uninstall. Can't cheat.

Once a session is running, there's no in-app pause button and no early exit. Uninstall protection stops you from deleting your way back to your feed mid-session. The countdown is the only way out, because that's the only thing that actually works.

Stryct is a commitment device by design. It's meant to be the decision your calmest self makes for your worst 11pm self.

Uninstall protection: Deleting the app mid-session doesn't lift the block.
No early stop: Sessions run to zero. There is no skip button.
Adult content blocking: Turn it on and known adult sites are blocked automatically. It's a one-way switch, there's no turning it back off.
"I got my brain back. I didn't know how badly I needed that."

Questions

Before you lock in.

What does Stryct block?
Anything you add to your Blocklist, like social apps, browsers, games, or specific websites by URL. Stryct can also block known adult content sites automatically, so it's covered even if you never add it yourself.
Can I stop a session early?
No. Once a Block Now session or a scheduled lock starts, it runs until the timer hits zero. That's the entire point: willpower has a way of finding loopholes, so Stryct doesn't leave one lying around.
Does Stryct work on Android?
Not yet. Stryct is currently iPhone only, with Android on the roadmap.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, every plan starts with a 3-day free trial, and there's no payment due today.
What happens if I hit my Daily Limit?
Your Blocklist locks automatically the moment your limit hits zero, and stays locked until it resets at midnight.
Can I delete the app to get around it?
Stryct uses uninstall protection during an active session, so deleting the app isn't a shortcut back to your feed.

Your next scroll doesn't have to happen.

Download Stryct, build your Blocklist, and give your calmest self control over your worst moments.
